The university may follow the rules of Higher Education Department, Srinagar for MBA seat allotment procedure. The university may also consider the J&K undergraduate seat allocation system for the allotment in the constituent and affiliated colleges. There are 40 seats for the iMBA. It must be noted that the given seat intake is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

The university offers MBA through its campus and an iMBA course through Abdul Ahad Azad Memorial College. For the iMBA programme, the number of seats available is 40. Candidates are admitted as per the sanctioned intake and based on merit in the accepted exam. This seat count is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. Cluster University MBA admission criteria is entrance-based. The candidates are selected based on performance in the CUET-PG exam. Hence, the aspirants need to apply for CUET-PG and secure a good score. The entrance test applications can be filled out on the official website of National Testing Agency (NTA). Once the CUET-PG results are out, the counselling process commences. During counselling, the seat allotment is done. Selected students can pay the admission fee amount to confirm their seats.

Cluster University select candidates based on performance in CUET-PG exam. The registrations for the entrance test are carried from Jan to Feb. CUET-PG exam is conducted from Mar to Apr. In the year 2025, the exam was conducted from Mar 13 to Apr 1. Additionally, the result was announced on May 6.

Navrachana University conducts a Written Aptitude Test (WAT) to shortlist MBA aspirants for admission under the Management Quota. The test is followed by personal interviews. WAT is conducted multiple times for admission to an academic batch. The exact dates of the test may vary yearly. As per the university's official website, the WAT will be condcuted on the following dates for the current academic year (2025-26):

Navrachana University require aspirants to undergo a comprehensive selection process before final admission to the MBA programme. The first requirement is to fulfil the specified eligibility criteria. Further, aspirants can get admission in one of the following two ways:
- Admissions through ACPC counselling based on CMAT scores
- Admission under the Management Quota is based on Graduation merit, Written Aptitude Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI)
Hence, getting direct admission to the MBA programme of Navrachana University may not be possible.
