Requirements are different for different companies, but with decent CGPA you will be eligible for most of the companies.

With closed eyes, go for T. I. M. E. ( Triumphant Institution of Management Education ). It is No. 1 institute for MBA entrance exams preparation in India.

I can give the functions of 3 main branches of MBA -
1) Marketing MBA - related to company's production and sale or in simple words, you have to give profit to company by selling more goods to customers via various strategies that company can make more profit

General is better in terms of the opportunities present as you know in IB it is very compact you choose IB only when you are passionate about international tradings.

PGDM has started new in this kolkata branch. PGPM highest package till now has been 6 lacs on an average.

For Premier institutes you have to give - CAT, XAT, IIFT, SNAP, NMAT and if you want to do MBA from decent B-schools then you can give MAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAH-CET ( for Maharashtra state colleges ) Best of luck :-)
