To study MBBS in BVMC, Pune, you must fulfill the following eligibilities:-

Educational Qualification: you should have passed 12th with Main subjects, In these subjects you need to have obtained at least 50% marks & 40% for SC/ST candidates.

Age Requirement: Your age should be 17 years old .

NEET Qualification: It is necessary to pass NEET-UG. Your NEET score and rank will determine your place of work.

Citizenship: Indian or NRI .

Approximately INR 19,35,150 for the whole course duration or five semesters fee is required for the MBBS programme at Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College (BVMC) in Pune. In this regard, school fees, development funds and other contingencies are included in this payment structure.

In addition to that there are also several personal charges that may come up. For example, hostel fee is separate and differs depending on the type of hostel selected by a student. The mode of payments accepted include online and demand drafts among others.

It should be noted that the cutoff for MBBS at Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College (BVMC), Pune is not yet officially out for 2024. As usual, these cutoffs are determined after NEET results and rely on such factors as number of applicants, toughness of NEET exam and availability of seats.

Just for reference, in 2023 the NEET cut off for the general category at B.V.M.C.Pune was approximately between All India Rank of 118,655 to 308,914. This means that those were the opening and closing ranks for admission into MBBS programme.

Yes, it is observed that studying MBBS from Pune can be expensive as most of the colleges have an average tuition fee of more than INR 5 lakh. You can refer to the table below for more information:

There are about 9 top MBBS colleges in Pune. Of these, 2 colleges are privately owned and 2 colleges are owned by public/government organisations. NEET is the only most accepting entrance exam in top Medical colleges in Pune. Some of the popular colleges include Armed Forces Medical College, Medical College, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research, Talegaon, etc.
