The intake capacity of Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University is the total of 150 MBBS students per year. The breakdown includes:

- 50% state quota seats (75 seats): available only for the students who belong to the domicile of Uttarakhand.

- 50% all-India quota seats (75 seats): admission to students who are interested to study in the school are open for students from all part of India.

Admission criteria:

- NEET UG entrance exam

General category students will need 85% marks for PCB combination in the aggregate percentage.

NEET UG Round 3, has been released for admission to the MBBS courses. As per Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research NEET UG cutoff 2025, the Round 3 closing rank was 263126 for General category candidates in All India quota for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). MBBS cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The Round 1 cutoff for the MBBS course was 714 in 2023; whereas in 2022, the closing rank was 630. Below is the latest round NEET UG cutoff 2024, along with the 2023 and 2022 cutoffs.

NEET Qualifying Marks 2024

 

The qualifying marks are released along with the result of NEET UG. NEET Cut off 2024 is expected to be 720-130 for the General/ EWS category and 129-105 for the OBC/ SC/ ST category.

Yes, it is possible to gain admission for the MBBS course according to the Government Medical College Thiruvananthapuram Cutoff 2025 if you belong to any AI category. 

For the General AI category, the overall cutoff range fell between 1695 and 4913; therefore, students can avail admission in the later rounds. Similarly, for the OBC AI category, the cutoff ranged from 2301 to 5764 for the MBBS course. In conclusion, students from these 2 categories can avail admission with a 4500 rank in the NEET UG exam. 

Please remember that other categories will have different cutoffs accordingly.

In 2025, for the General AI category students, the maximum NEET UG cutoff rank required for MBBS admission was 31834. So, considering the rank, yes, candidates can get into KMC Manipal with a NEET UG cutoff rank of 2000.

Candidates applying through the NEET must first register for the NEET exam. Then appear for the NEET exam. Then take part in the counselling round. Then pay the admission fee at the selected and the allotted university. For admissions, securing good marks in NEET is essential as the competition is quite high.

KGMU NEET UG cutoff 2024 has been released for various courses in the form of opening and closing ranks. KGMU cutoff 2024 ranged between, 2059 and 29714 for the General AI category candidates, wherein, the most competitive course with the lowest ranks needed is MBBS (2059). Considering the NEET UG Round 3, students cannot get admission for MBBS course at KGMU with a cutoff rank between 10000 and 30000 under unreserved category, however, apart from MBBS, students can prefer BDS at a lenient cutoff rank of 29714.
