Pursuing MCA from UEM can be a great way to step forward in your career. The full-time regular course is spread over 2 years and divided into 4 semesters. The classes are held from Monday to Friday and the fee structure is about 40,000 INR per semester. To join the course, you need to grab good marks in class 10th and 12th. To become a government teacher, you need to have B.Ed degree and HTET or CTET examination passing. If it is your aim to become a teacher of computer applications in a school, you can do BCA first and then go for B.Ed but doing it after graduation, you will be a teacher to lower classes, if you want to be teacher for higher classes, it is advisable to complete you post graduation in the same field before going in for B.Ed. B.Ed is offered at LPU as a 2 year programme with various top features like:

The B.Tech CSE and MCA both are eligible for GATE exam. So both are eligible for doing M.Tech CSE in IIT and NITs. However for UPCS (Indian Engineers Services) the MCA degree holders are not eligible to apply. Hence MCA is not equivalent to B.Tech CSE.

Yes, you can do your Ph.D. in SOME SPECIFIC COURSE such as if you like to became a Teacher in computer Science feild you can do your Ph.D. with computer Science.
