Your class 10th and class 12th marks at the time of placement only, they make you eligible for a particular company as per the marks requirement by company in order to get eligible for interview. Getting Job or placed only depends on your skills that you will gain during your B.Tech studies. Not only class 12th marks but class 10 marks percentage is also very much important for off campus placements. According to your mark, you are eligible for every government job exam. While there will be only problem when some companies keep condition that candidates marks in class 10th and 12th should be above 60 percent and this is not with every private job in engineering. In general, most companies do not really consider 10th or 12th board marks too much. Most times, the CGPA or percentage you get throughout your college years matters. Madras Christian College offers many undergraduate courses of three-year duration under various departments. Admissions to these courses will be done on the bases of candidates score list of 10+2 examinations.
Candidates, who want to apply in B.Com, BBA and B.A courses must have at least 50% aggregate in higher secondary examinations.
The age limit for admissions to UG courses will be 21 yrs as on July 1, 2021. Relaxation of 5years is permitted for differently abled and 3 years for women candidates.
Candidates from boards other than Tamil Nadu State Board, CBSE, AISSCE, and ISCE must produce eligibility certificate from the University of Madras.
All candidates who pass the Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu State Board by Private Study and private candidates from CBSE or under the OPEN SCHOOL SYSTEM should also produce eligibility certificate.
