During the internship, students work in the same medical college and hospital where they studied. The stipend is around INR 12,000 - INR 13,000 per month. Internship involves 7–8 hours of work daily, with weekly to monthly subject rotations giving exposure to multiple departments. This is a well-structured internship since the hospital's high patient load ensures that interns get hands-on experience with real cases every single day.

The minimum NEET score depends upon the type of college and the quota you are applying under. You can get a seat in many private colleges with a score between 350 and 500 i.e. 60–90 percentile. Some colleges will even take a score of 400 at management quota. College like CMC Vellore may need 550 and above.
