KMC Manipal charges different fees for the programmes it offers at undergraduate, postgraduate, super specialty and fellowship levels. Kasturba Medical College fees include some major components such as tuition fees, hostel fees and one-time application fees. Candidates may also be required to submit separate entrance test fees for selected courses.

The tuition fees charged by the institute ranges between INR 1.5 Lacs and INR 80.1 Lacs and the hostel fees ranges from INR 1.25 Lacs to INR 1.30 Lacs for general category candidates. Applicants are also required to deposit INR 600 as an application fees (INR 2,500 for Foreign/NRI/ NRI sponsored category candidates) during KMC Manipal application process and must additionally submit INR 1,400 as an entrance test fees for selected courses. Candidates must meet the course wise specific eligibility requirement for admission in the MSc programme at Kasturba Medical College. Candidates who have passed BSc degree examination (with at least one subject of Biological Sciences)/ BSc Nursing/ BSc Allied Health Sciences/ MBBS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BPT/ BPharm with minimum 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for MSc Anatomy/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Physiology or Pharmacology course.

Candidates who have passed BSc degree examination in Reproduction/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioscience/ Physiology as one of the subjects with minimum 60% aggregate can apply for MSc Clinical Embryology/ Reproductive Genetics or Reproductive and Developmental Biology course offered at Manipal Medical College.

Candidates who have MBBS/ BDS/ BSc Nursing/ BSc with (Human Genetics/ Human Biology/ Medical Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology)/ Allied Health Science programmes with minimum 50% aggregate can apply for MSc Genetic counselling course.

KMC Manipal MBBS admission is made on the basis of scores and rank obtained by candidates in NEET UG. Candidates should keep in mind that appearance in the entrance examination is not the only requirement, but they have to meet the minimum eligibility criteria. Candidates who want to seek admission in the MBBS programme at Kasturba Medical College must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained minimum 50% marks take together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology. Additionally, candidates must be at least 17 years old during the time of admission or must complete that age on or before December 31 of the year of his/ her admission to the first year of the Undergraduate Medical course.
