Biology has the highest weightage (~50%) in NEET 2025 with key chapters like Molecular Basis of Inheritance (14%), Animal Kingdom (13%), and Principles of Inheritance (10%) being most asked. In Chemistry (~25%), high-weight chapters are Chemical Bonding (9%), Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids (9%), and Coordination Compounds (~6%). In Physics (~25%), attention is paid to topics like Current Electricity (10%), Ray Optics (6%), and Rotational Motion (6%), while others like Electrostatics, Thermodynamics, and Semiconductor Devices hold medium (~3–5% each) weight. Weighty chapters like these have the potential to raise NEET scoring ability.

Yes, you can fill out the NEET registration form with 46% in 12th (PCB) but to be eligible for admission, you need the following:  

- Minimum 50% for General/OBC or 40% for SC/ST  

- Your PCB aggregate must meet the criteria  

Options if you fall short:  

1) Take an improvement exam to raise your marks.  

2) Consider NIOS or a single-subject re-test  

3) Some state boards allow grace marks  

Note: You'll receive an admit card, but final college admission requires your marks to meet the requirements. Don't lose hope; many students improve their marks later! Check the NMC guidelines for the latest rules.
