Taking drop really doesn't benefit for most students according to my interactions with them. I am talking about most students although there are students who score more than what they achieved previously. You said you worked really hard and got 250-300 then It will not make a big difference if you take drop. Students SEE this like if they take drop and study for one particular entrance they will surely crack it but most of the time they waste the initial days and start their studies before 2 to 3 months par the entrance. You must have a 10+2 or equivalent certification from a recognised board, with Physics Chemistry Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core courses. Aspirants with a Class 12 qualification or equivalent are also eligible to apply for NEET. Candidates must be 17 years old as of December 31, 2023.

476 is a decent score but inorder to secure a government MBBS seat a score of 600+ is considered safe for your category, you can get a private seat or opt for dental with this score depending on your choice all the best keep trying.

If you are from your category then a score from 350-400 will get you a private MBBS seat in India try for the counseling process and be patient to get on the merit list.

No you have to secure the qualifying marks in NEET exam. Case no 1 - If you get admission through state quota or AIQ in a government medical college
Fees from 60 k to 80 k per annum approximately 3.5 Lacs for MBBS
Case no 2 - If you get admission in private medical college
Fees from 6 Lacs - 8 Lacs per annum approximately 35 Lacs - 40 Lacs for MBBS
Case no -3 If you get admission in deemed university
Fees from 20 Lacs - 25 Lacs per annum approximately 1 crore- 1.25 crores for MBBS
