You can re-attempt your HSC exams in 2025 and appear for NEET 2025, provided you pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects and meet the required marks criteria (50% for general category). You can register as a private candidate or through your board, but you must ensure that your HSC results are declared before NEET 2025, expected around May. There are no age or attempt limits now, as long as you are 17 years old by December 31, 2025.

With an All India Rank of 80,000 and a score of 60%, it's unlikely you'll get a clinical seat in a government medical college through the All India Quota (AIQ) under the OBC category in NEET PG 2024. The cutoff for clinical specializations in AIQ seats typically falls much lower than your rank.

Cutoffs:

For AIQ seats, the cutoff for clinical specializations like General Medicine, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, OBG, Radiology, and Dermatology are usually within the top 15,000 ranks.

If you're aiming for B.Sc Nursing at JIPMER, first of all—great choice! JIPMER is one of the most reputed institutes in India.

Now, regarding NEET: yes, admission to the B.Sc Nursing course at JIPMER does happen through NEET-UG scores.

General category: Around 400–500+ marks is usually considered safe.

OBC/SC/ST categories: Candidates in these categories might get admission with marks in the range of 300–450, depending on seat availability and competition that year.

Scoring 450-500 marks in NEET mock test is good and conveys that you are on the right track but you should do more such that you can easily go in your exam as the paramedical exam is quite different from NEET in terms of both pattern and competition. To get good score you need to do more study and improve more.

To get admission in BHMS at DEI Agra for a general category candidate, your NEET qualifying percentile is 50th percentile. In NEET 2024, the score range is in between 162 to 720. Specifically for DEI Agra, the closing All India Rank (AIR) for the General category in the 2024 AYUSH NEET UG Round 3 counseling was 1,321,964 . This suggests that candidates with lower NEET scores, possibly even below 200, were considered for admission in that round.

During the counselling procedure of NEET one needs to pay a registration and a refundable security fees. This may range from INR 1,000-10,000 for the general category and INR 500-5,500 for the reserved category. But this may vary in few deemed colleges.

No, students from any stream cannot give NEET. Students who have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English in Class 12 are still eligible, but not those with a purely humanities background. So PCM and PCB students are eligible.
