It's all the matter of hard work you do, your dedication towards your studies, and the right and to the point study material for the exam. 1) Know your syllabus well and in-depth knowledge of your syllabus.
2) know the question paper pattern, marks distribution, etc.
3) Know the exact books to be referred to while your preparation eg. NCERT is a must for all the subjects, MTG question banks are really helpful and other books which you feel comfortable with.
4) Do practice a lot of previous year question papers.
5) If possible do join a test series (Allen test series are good and are not much expensive) as it'll help you to know your position in all India level from time to time before the actual exam.
6) Be focused and don't allow yourself to be distracted.
