With 420 marks in NEET, it may be tough to get a government college for BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), but not out of reach. Government college cutoffs differ from state to state, category to category, and year to year.

With a NEET 2024 score of 408 and AIR of 363,396 in SC category, getting an MBBS seat in government medical college under the All India Quota is not possible, since the closing ranks in recent years for SC candidates have been much lower. You can possibly get better opportunities under state quota in your home state, where cutoffs are comparatively lower. It's a good idea to go through the state counseling process and investigate private medical colleges too. Going through the detailed state counseling information will give more insight into what your choices are.

Having a NEET 2024 score of 408 and an All India Rank of 363,396 in the SC category, it is not easy to get an MBBS seat in a government medical college under the All India Quota (15% AIQ). In 2024, the cut-off rank for SC students under AIQ was around 137,759, with a score of about 550.

With a NEET score of 607 and an All India Rank of 72,881 in the OBC category, you have a good chance of getting an MBBS seat in Gujarat. In past years, OBC students with scores of around 590 were selected in premier government medical colleges such as Government Medical College, Baroda. Since your score is higher than these thresholds, you are well-placed for admission. But cutoffs may differ every year depending on the number of candidates and seat capacity. It's better to actively take part in the state counselling process and remain informed with the latest news.

As NEET UG score is 407, admissions to a B.Sc. Nursing course in government college can prove to be hard, as it has more cut-off marks as compared to colleges. For example, government colleges in past years have demanded marks between 450 and 500 for general candidates.
But cut-offs may differ from year to year depending on the number of applicants, availability of seats, and reservation rules. It is better to go through the counseling process and check both government and private colleges to increase your chances of getting admitted.

With a NEET score of 388, getting admission in a government college for the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course is difficult, as government colleges have higher cutoffs. But private colleges have lower cutoffs, so your chances of getting admission are higher. For example, in Maharashtra, the BAMS cutoff in private colleges for the general category has been approximately 162 marks.

The NEET score of 567 and All India Rank (AIR) of 119,231, which is very unlikely to get an MBBS seat at Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC) under the All India Quota (AIQ). Traditionally, AIQ cutoffs for general category candidates at AGMC are higher. In previous years, for example, the AIQ cutoff for the general category used to be somewhere between 21,742.

Still, as an ST candidate, you would have a higher chance under the state quota. In the 2024 Tripura state counseling, the ST candidates had a lower cutoff.

With a NEET rank of 201 and an All India Rank (AIR) of 974,309 in the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, it is very unlikely that one will get an MBBS seat in a government medical college. The cutoff scores of NEET for ST candidates in government medical colleges have been much higher in the past.

With an All India Rank (AIR) of 308,470 in NEET 2024, getting a seat in a government medical college is not easy, as these colleges have generally higher cutoff ranks. But you can expect chances in private medical colleges, particularly under management or state quota seats. It's better to attend state counseling sessions, visit private colleges, and look for alternative medical courses to increase your chances of getting admitted.
