No, it cannot be compared with IHM shillong for B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, as IHM Shillong placements, experience, and exposure are far better than SIHM Durgapur. IHM Shillong has an average placement rate of 90%. Big hotel brands like Leela, Taj, and Oberoi visit the campus for placements. Students also get placements. The highest salary offered was Rs. 35,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month.

The best course at IHM Shillong is a B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. Based on the reviews provided, all the teachers are very good and helpful.
