For MET admission, candidates have to pass 12th class qualifying exam. Minimum 50 percent is needed in Physics, Mathematics and one of the optional subjects. Candidates should have minimum pass marks in each subject.

No. The authorities will not accept any other examination scores for MET counselling. All candidates will be assessed based on their scores secured in MET. To participate in the MET counselling and be eligible for admissions into the offered courses by the campuses, the candidates will have to attempt and qualify the entrance examination. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank along with other factors such as order of preferences, category and seat availability.

MET counselling process will be held online. Candidates have to update their details, select their choice of colleges and courses and pay fee. Authorities will also announce MET seat allotment online. Candidates will be given admission according to obtained rank and preferences.

MET counselling will be held online. To be eligible for counselling, candidates should have MET rank. They should have also passed 12th class qualifying exam with atleast 50 percent marks in Physics, Mathematics and one optional subject.

For higher chances of admission, candidates are advised to score minimum 190 marks or above out of total marks. If candidates score high, their chance of admission into their preferences will also be high.

After MET result, qualified candidates will have to register for counselling. They will have to choose their preferred course and campus. MET seat allotment result will be announced online. Allotment of seats will be done according to candidate's rank and preferences.

MET seat allotment dates will be announced online. Separate seat allotment will be released for different rounds of counselling. To check allotment, candidates will have to login with their required details.

MET counselling fee is INR 10,000. During counselling, candidates have to pay fee through net banking/credit card/debit card. Offline payments will not be accepted. If fee is not paid before last date, admission will be cancelled.

To participate in the MET counselling process, the candidates will have to complete the registration process before the final date. To be registered for MET counselling, the candidates will have to click on the registration link and log in using their application number and OTBS password. After checking the profile, the candidates will have to update it with the necessary information . Not much changes in the details can be made during the MET counselling registration process. If there are two or more candidates who have same marks in MET exam, then authorities will follow tie breaking rules. Section wise marks will be checked to give ranks. If all marks are same, candidate who is older in age will be given higher rank.
