Candidates are advised to carefully check the study materials so that they are well prepared for the entrance examination.

The authorities will prepare the questions in the MET English section to assess the candidate's fundamental knowledge in English language, grammar and usage. Since the candidates will be assessed on their primary knowledge of word usage, matching of subject and verbs, correct usage of tenses, and grammatically correct sentences acceptable in standard written communication, the following books can be referred to:

By solving mock tests, the candidates will have a better understanding of the exam pattern and how the examination will be held. MET mock tests will also help the candidates assess their preparation process and accordingly prepare for the examination. Commonly made mistakes can also be identified so that the same is not made during the exam. Mock tests will also help the candidates boost their time management skills.

For MET preparation, candidates should prepare a study timetable. Candidates have to finish syllabus before exam date. Mock tests and sample paper should be included in daily study plan. Candidates should also revise every day.

Yes. The candidates will be able to check the exam day guidelines in the MET admit card. Before reporting to the exam centre, the candidates are advised to check the MET exam day guidelines. Through the guidelines, the candidates will be able to know the do's and dont's of the examination. All candidates are advised to reach the exam centre atleast an hour before the examination starts to complete the security checks on time. No electronic devices will be allowed inside the MET exam centre.

No. MET hall ticket will not be available for the candidates in offline mode i.e., through post or in person. To download the MET admit card, the candidates will have to complete the online slot booking process. After the slots are successfully booked, the hall ticket will be generated for download. If the candidates are unable to log in and download the MET admit card, they are advised to contact the authorities immediately. MET admit card should be printed out and ready before the candidates report to the centre for the examination. 

No. Soft copies of MET admit card will not be accepted by the authorities at the exam centres. All candidates will have to present a print out of their MET hall ticket along with the identity proof and other required documents. Candidates who present digital hall tickets will not be allowed to attempt the examination. After the MET admit card is generated, the candidates are advised to print it out as soon as possible. Multiple print outs are advised since the candidates may lose one.
