Filled-up applications can be submitted to the Principal, Tamil Nadu Government M. G. R. Film and Television Institute by 5 pm on August 12, 2022. MGR University Admission 2022 the last date is November 30, 2022. Eligibility criteria: Students must have passed class 10+2 from a recognised board with 40 percent and for SC, ST students just have to be passed in class 10+2. Maximum Age: 24 years
The students belonging to all communities except SC and ST should not exceed the above-mentioned age limit as of 1st July. For SC and ST the maximum age limit is 26 years. 1.Generally, film directors have taken a professional course in film production before starting their careers in this field.
2. If your previous studies were in a different field, you must complete a diploma or certificate course in a related field. For example, you can do a diploma in direction screenplay writing and television production, a diploma in film technology and television production (cinematography), or a certificate in advanced direction.
3. If you are already studying a related field, after completing your course, you can apply to work as an assistant director.
4. You can create a short film or direct a YouTube video to show your skill and get work early.
5. This is a practical field where, initially, you need to struggle a lot and prove your direction skills. Once you manage to get good feedback on your work, you can get work as a film director.
