Mahatma Gandhi University, also known as Gandhiji University or M G University, was established on 2 October 1983 in Kottayam. The university has 183 affiliated colleges spread over five districts in central Kerala. Besides this, it has 21 teaching and research departments or schools, six information centres and three study centres.

No, it cant be transferred to other universities and colleges. It will be possible after the proper implementation of NEP.
Till then you can npt transfer your credits.
