Mahatma Gandhi University (Kerala) has many affiliated engineering colleges, but one important thing to understand is that most engineering colleges in Kerala are now primarily affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), even if they were earlier linked with MG University. So, the list of colleges offering EEE under MG University affiliation is limited or overlapping.

As per the NIRF report 2025, the median salary for UG 5-year and PG 2-year couses in 2024 stood at INR 4 LPA and INR 5.5 LPA. Earlier, the median salary offered to UG 5-year students in 2023 was INR 3.6 LPA and for PG 2-year it was INR 6 LPA.

The median salary for UG 5-year courses has improved from 2022 to 2024. It was INR 1.8 LPA in 2022 and rose to INR 4 LPA in 2024. Out of 38 UG 5-year students 26 were placed in 2024. Furthermore, a fluctuating trend wa sobserved in the PG 2-year median salary. Out of 565 PG 2-year students 455 were placed in 2024.

The University has released the NIRF report 2025. The report incorporates 2024 statistics. As per report, 455 PG-2 year and 26 UG-5 year students were placed during the 2024 placements. The median salary offered to UG-5 year and PG-2 year students was INR 4 LPA and INR 5.5 LPA, respectively.

Placements at MG University for BPharma graduates depends on the merit and experience of the students.  A breakdown on the general salary packages based on experience are given below:

  • Entry-Level: INR 15,000 - 25,000 per month
  • Mid-Level: INR 25,000 - 50,000 per month
  • Senior-Level: INR 50,000 – 1 Lacs per month

The salary package also depends on various other factors such as location, job role, etc.

BPharm admissions at MG University require students to have passed Class 12 from a recognised board or equivalent. Students with higher educational backgrounds can also apply for the course. Further, students should be at least 17 years of age by December 31 of the admission year. Documents are required for verification purposes. Candidates can further reach out to the admission office of the respective college for more details regarding the same.

No, students can not join Mahatma Gandhi University Kerala. The university accepts admisison based on merit and entrance exams. MGU Kerala accepts national entrance exams such as CAT, KEAM, CPGET, and others.
