Yes, you have a chance to get a Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) seat in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme seats are only for low-income candidates from the open or general category. If you belong to the reserved category, then you better go for reserved category seats, as there's hardly any difference in the fee for Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme and reserved category seats. You can apply for the EWS category if you have a lower percentile, provided you have related documents and have given MHT CET with the EWS category. Since there is a reservation for EWS candidates in Maharashtra (MH-CET), the cutoffs for colleges are generally lower than for general category students. For instance, in the previous year, in Amravati College of Engineering, students were allowed admission with a rank of 23,000 in the EWS category (MH-CET), whereas the general category students needed to be ranked under 9,000 for admission. Every year, authorities conduct three rounds of Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for B.Tech admission. So, there is nothing about ACAP because there is no additional CAP rounds of counselling.

Hello Mohit Shirsath, do not get depressed. You have obtained very good percentile in MHT CET at almost 83. What it means is that you are in top 15% of all the students who appeared for this exam. Surely being in top 15% should not be acayse of depression. Believe you me, you have great chances of getting admission in best engineering colleges in Maharashtra. Best wishes to you.
