The cost of living at ALMA, the International School of Italian Cuisine is INR 63 thousand to INR 1 lakh per month, covering accommodation, food, transportation, and other personal expense. The cost of the Certification in Italian Pasta course is INR 4.41 lakh, for Diploma in New Italian Culinary it is INR 25.32 lakhs, for Certificate in Italian Pastry it is INR 5.22 lakh, for Diploma in French and Italian Pastry Art it is INR 16.82 lakh. These costs are average when compared to other colleges. However, these costs can also be met by availing different types of scholarships.

Getting part-time jobs is easy while studying at ALMA, the International School of Italian Cuisine. At ALMA students can get part time jobs as cooking instructor, cook, caffeteria team member, receptionist of front office in hotel, etc. Candidates can get jobs under big brands like Orient Express, The Hoxton, Melia Hotels International, etc. The career advisory comittee of the college helps them in getting the part time jobs. Other than this the college also has strong bonds with the F&B industry. There are also many job postings where the students can find the job.

Yes, it is possible to get into Diploma at ALMA, the International School of Italian Cuisine without work experience. You have to submit the documents required along with TOEFL score greater than 79.

The application submitted is not final enrollment but the booking of the course. A student must submit the application six months before the start of the course.

  • ALMA courses have a limited number of participants. In case your favourite edition is sold out, you will be contacted by the Student Office and either included in the waiting list or in a different edition of the course.

However, the university helps students find affordable student housing near the campus. No, the University of Detroit Mercy is not all girls. However, a majority of the student population is female. According to the facts of 2022-23, the total student enrollment was around 5,300. Female student enrollment percentage was 57%, whereas, male student enrollment was 43%.

Detroit Mercy University has 4 campuses in total. The McNichols campus area is 70 acres. This is the campus where a majority of the undergraduate and graduate courses are offered. The other campuses of the university are the Corktown campus, Riverfront Campus, and Novi Campus. Various facilities are offered to students such as athletic facilities such as student fitness center, Calihan Hall (multi-sports facility), courts for basketball, volleyball, etc.
