No, you do not have to give NEET in order to pursue Microbiology from the colleges in Coimbatore. NEET is the entrance exam for admission to Medicine (MBBS) courses. Since Microbiology is generally studied as a BSc or MSc degree, it is not mandatory for students to give NEET. They can get admission to Microbiology courses on the basis of class 12 scores.
