Understanding the scoring pattern of Graduate Record Examinations is an important part of your preparation. There is no negative marking in the GRE Exam. It means you don't need to worry about score deductions.
The difficulty of the second section in (Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning) depends on the performance in first section. GRE Analytical Writing measured on a scale of 0 - 6 in half-point increments.

The Duolingo English Test consists of two parts – An Adaptive test and a Writing and Speaking test. The duration of the adaptive test is 45 minutes, whereas the writing and speaking test lasts 10 minutes. The former contains a series of different questions which will analyse your English language skills, whereas the latter has open-ended prompts which you can share with the institutions of your choice along with your DET score. In the adaptive test, the difficulty level of the questions will alter on the basis of how you perform. For the speaking sample, you will get 1-3 minutes to record your response and for the writing part, the response will have to be recorded in 3-5 minutes.
The International English Language Testing System or IELTS exam contains four parts, namely – Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking, on which the test takers are evaluated. This exam has two formats – IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training Test. The former is used by higher education institutes across the world where you wish to apply for the purpose of UG or PG programmes. If you wish to migrate to a major English-speaking country or want to move to a different nation for employment-centric training you can give IELTS General Training.
GRE General Test is a computer delivered exam. It assesses skills in Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. It consists of five total sections. Including one essay task. GRE test duration is 1 hour and 58 minutes. Less than 2 years.
