Christ Delhi NCR admissions are both entrance and merit-based. The institute accepts students to majority of its programmes on the basis of valid score secured by the candidates in either national-level entrance test or university's own entrance test; CUET (Christ University Entrance Test). Additonally, for a few other courses such as MSc, PG Diploma, etc, the institute accepts students on a merit basis. UG course selection criteria at DAITM Kolkata are merit-based except BSc in Medical Lab Technology. Students must have compulsory subjects in Mathematics and/ or Biology for the BSc in Medical Lab Technology course. However, candidates who want to pursue MSc course must meet certain requirements as per specialisations, respectively.

Both MICAT scores and final merit list are released separately. Online at mica.ac.in, the official website, MICAT results are announced. Using the login credentials they created upon registration, test participants can view their results. Selected candidates will receive invitations to GE/PI at different MICA campuses after the results. The marking scheme created by MICA to assess each candidate's performance on the MICAT exam is used to release MICAT scores. The results of the two exam segments of the MICAT are released separately. Direct admission against vacant seats : under this 15% seats in institute shall be filled by the management/NRI quota. Second, admission through entrance exams like JEE mains, JEECUP, CUET (NTA). UG under different programme demand different entrance exams.Students should score valid marks in JEE Main/UPSEE for IET Lucknow admission to the B.Tech courses while a GATE score is accepted for IET Lucknow M.Tech admission. For other courses, Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow admission will be done through UPCET.
