For B.Tech and M.Tech programs, you need to have valid JEE Main and GATE scores, respectively. The ACS College of Engineering uses an entrance-based admissions process. Candidates for the B.E. programme are chosen depending on how well they do on entrance tests like JEE Main, COMED-K, or CET. The PGCET or GATE score determines a candidate's admission to the M.Tech programme. In a similar vein, candidates for Ph.D. programmes are chosen according to how well they score on the qualifying admission exam. As a result, the college's several programmes are selected through an entrance-based procedure.

Admissions at Nehru Arts and Science College are merit-based. The college admits students to all courses, including BSc, based on merit scores in the qualifying examination. The basic eligibility for undergraduate programs is a 10+2 passing certificate. The admission process is both online and offline, and students are called for counseling based on their merits and applications. The college does not conduct an entrance exam for admission, and the selection criteria are merit-based.
