Himachal Pradesh University, Department of Evening Studies release merit list after the registration process is over. The university usually releases two merit list to announce the names of shortlisted candidates. Since, the official schedule is not out yet. Below are the tentative HPU dates for BA merit list as per the previous year schedules:

Greetings,
The admissions at Rayat-Bahra University vary depending on which programme one is applying to. Most programs have merit-based admissions through marks obtained in qualifying exams like 12th board exams, JEE Main, NEET, etc. (specific requirements differ by program). There can also be entrance-based admissions through RBU's own entrance test (RBUET) followed by counseling based on both entrance score and qualifying exam marks. So, it is advised to check on what programme one is wishing to apply to check the requirements accordingly.

Yes, entrance-based admissions are the main criteria for B.Tech programs, as passing JEE Main or comparable national/state exams is required. Merit and admissions chances are determined by rank on these tests.
Prior to being admitted, students must take and pass national engineering admission exams such as JEE Main. The institute determines the qualifying cut-off scores. Therefore, passing the eligibility test for admission is crucial.
After that, admissions are determined by the entrance exam results' All India ranking. Only the students' JEE Main merit rankings are used to fill seats.

DMI College of Engineering offers BE and B.Tech courses at UG level. Candidates who have completed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are considered eligible to get admission in BE and B.Tech courses. The B.Des programmes at ITM Institute of Design and Media (ITM-IDM), Andheri West, have entrance- and merit-based admissions, with a two-stage selection procedure. The admissions at ITM Executive Education Centre is entrance-based.
A candidate should have atleast 50% aggregate in undergrduation. Students in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply. ITM accept various entrance exam scores like CAT, XAT, GMAT, XAT, CMAT, State CET Test. Candidate should fill the application form of the institute to be eligible for admission. The inter-se merit list is prepared by the exam conducting authority when two or more candidates secure the same marks or exact merit position.
If a situation were to come then the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) would prepare the inter-se merit list for Karnataka PGCET based on the Total or aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying exam which in this case is the graduation degree.
If the marks are still equal then the age is taken into consideration and the preference is given to the older candidate over the younger one.
