Moople Institute of Animation and Design shortlists candidates based on their academic merit. The institute considers scores secured by the students in the last qualifying exam (Class 10/ 12/ Graduation/ Postgration- as required) academic merit and creative aptitude of the students. The institute may ask students to appear for institute-level selection rounds if it deems it necessary.

Moople Institute of Animation and Design, Elgin Road admissions are made on the basis academic merit and creative aptitude of the students. Students wishing to seek admission to the courses provided by the institute need to qualify for the eligibility criteria specified for each course. Moople Institute of Animation and Design, Elgin Road UG admission requires students to pass Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board. For certain courses, those with UG/ PG degrees may also apply. Further, for some certificate courses, Class 10 marks are also accepted.
