Yes. If you're appearing for NPAT then you're eligible for admissions in MPSTME this year too.

For admission in MPSTME (any course), you need to give NPAT i.e the entrance test for NMIMS courses. Although after the counselling through results of NPAT and commencement of college if seats are available. They take admission based on boards marks and JEE Mains scores.

You should choose the field of your interest for internship. Take permission from your college then apply. You should do the internship of minimum 1 month and maximum permitted by your college. According to me, production or designing (CAD/CAM) is best choice. Do at least 2-3 internships. These will be very useful in further subjects as well as placements. As far as "how" the MBA Tech course is. It will GET you a better package than B.Tech (mostly) but if you want to GET into management, then NMIMS' MBA (post graduation) from School of Business Management is a much better option as it has more value and will land you better packages. And for the learning part (if you are interested in it), it all depends on how much willing you are to learn.
