If you're looking at Gaming as a career then go for the first one, else the latter. Otherwise, like i advised earlier it doesn't matter, since at graduation level, even a degree in just animation is good enough and you can pursue further education in your desired area after that. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance i

Usually any degree mentioning Gaming would have probably one or two modules on game engines. Similarly, Film making may instead have a module on cinematography or storytelling. Other than that most of the learning required would be similar. So usually it won't matter much and i would suggest that you focus more on finding an institute which has the best learning environment. Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose. Go speak to people over there and see if you like their philosophy and they change your persp ective.Try their website for more details. Also remember that Ani

Bhavarsh, I could tell you that XYZ Institute is one of the best and go read online about it. I could tell you to search the youtube for 'best animation faculty' or 'best animation institute'. You could do well to create a list of places you may want to learn at, whether they are in your city or not. Then go to th
