Yes, candidates who wish to apply for ITM-IDM Mumbai BDes course can do so. If the candidates have not registered for the ITM-IDM entrance exam, the registrations for that begin from April 17th, 2026.

Candidates who have their scores from NIT DAT or SEED can apply through those scores as well.

The median salary of a forensic scientist, or at least graduates passing out through BSc and MSc courses at colleges in Mumbai, is between INR 6 and 18 LPA,   as in the latest University of Mumbai placement reports.

Yes, you can go for BSc in forensic Science from the University of Mumbai, which is a government college with less fees. DY Patil University in Navi Mumbai offers a BSc in Forensic Science course too, but it can cost around INR 16 Lakh. The eligibility for both government and private forensic colleges in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai is to pass Class 12 in Science in the PCB combination.

No, Indian School of Technology and Management admissions are not entrance-based. The institute offers seats through merit basis. Students need to complete the qualifying exam to get a seat at ISTM.
