Hello, frankly speaking nanotechnology field is a growing field in India.
You can get more opportunities in abroad with this field. You can still get the job in India but only in research field.

Hi,
Nanotechnology is the branch of technology. It has a huge scope in the upcoming generations. It is the third the highest booming field when compared with IT and Internet. In India, Bangalore and Chennai are the manufacturing hub for IT and Medicine. The Indian government has already started Nanoscience and Nanotechnology initiatives and various funding agencies like the Department of Science and Technology.

I am not sure about Jaipur University. But nanotechnologist get an average salary of 10 LPA.

Since you have a low boards percentage, you can only get into it if you have good Mains marks.
However, the branch is non-core, hence the competition will not be much.
