For most courses at NCI students are required to submit an IELTS score of 6.0-6.5 overall with no less than 5.5-6.0 in any other band. Students can also submit the following tests:
- DET- 105-120+
- TOEFL iBT- 60-79 overall with no component less than 12-15
- PTE Academic- 50-58 overall with no component less than 40-48

NCI suggests students to apply at least six months prior to the date of arrival at the university. This is mostly because visa processing can actually take up to 6 months of time. So ensure you have enough time to apply for a visa. Some countries may have earlier deadlines due to the visa processing times

Yes, NCI Ireland does accept students, even with a gap year. Students may however, have to justify their gap year during the admission process. Gap years are not an issue as long as it not a very big one, and students meet the basic admission requirements for the course they're applying to.
