Candidates applying to NIPER Guwahati should not have age more than 28 years. They should have scored a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.75 out of 10 in the qualifying degree and 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

To study PhD at NIPER Guwahati students must complete the required eligibility of:

• Having a PG degree in relevant stream such as Pharmaceutical sciences, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or any related fields.
• With degree scores of 60% (55% for SC/ST) minimum while the selection process depends on NIPER JEE scores.

The selection criteria for the programmes at NIPER Ahmedabad is entrance-based. Candidates are required to participate in the admissions process through the application form. 
Candidates are required to appear for the entrance exams that are required for the course they wish to apply to. Candidates must clear the cutoff set by the institute to get the final admission offer. 

NIPER Mohali MPharm admission is based on the selection criteria predefined for all NIPERs offering the course. NIPER Guwahati conducts NIPER JEE for admission to various PG-level courses offered at all NIPERs, including an MPharm. Prospective candidates are selected based on their performance in NIPER JEE.
