NIT Hamirpur MSc admission 2025 is based on candidates' performance in the IIT JAM entrance exam, followed by the CCMN counselling process. The Round 1 of the CCMN cutoff 2025 has been released for MSc admission, wherein the closing ranks varied between 629 and 1346 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Of all the MSc specialisations, the one with the lowest cutoff rank of 629 was Mathematics and Computing. For other specialisations along with their GATE CCMN first-round closing ranks, check out the table provided below:

You can get CSE in GFTI as per the JoSSA counselling cutoff last year. You cannot get any branch, like CSE, ECE in NIT at this rank.

For admission to BTech at NIT Hamirpur, students must pass Class 12 with 75% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with any one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject (for SC/ST, 65% aggregate is required).

Candidates willing to take admission in NIT Hamirpur must appear for certain entrance exams accepted by the institue. These include- JEE Main, NATA, CAT, MAT, GATE, IIT JAM, etc. They must also fulfil the eligibility criteria required for admission.

The first step for admission into NIT Hamirpur MBA is to apply and appear for the CAT/MAT/ CMAT entrance exam as admission into NIT Hamirpur's MBA programme takes place after the completion of these exams. Only after getting a valid CAT/MAT/CMAT score will one get a seat in the institution.
After a candidate has appeared for the management entrance exams, they can apply for admission into the programme. Admission into the programme is highly competitive as there are only 40 seats offered by the institution for the MBA programme.

The MBA programme at NIT Hamirpur is two years long. The program follows the semester model, thus candidates have to study for four semesters at the institution and clear the evaluations of four semesters to be eligible for an MBA degree from the institution. As the programme is offered in full-time offline mode the candidates also have to maintain certain attendance standards throughout the four semesters.
