NITs Rourkela accept CAT percentile above 50. The more important thing is your B.Tech percentage. It should be more than 65. And then, there is GD-PI. Total seats available is 60.

You can get VNIT but not NIT-Rourkela as getting there is quite difficult, according to last year admission score.

Both the NIT are good enough and have equal importance. Both the NIT provide good branch and have equally good placement statistics. NIT, Rourkela is one of the best engineering colleges in India. With the best infrastructure and very good placements, it gives many opportunities to the students pursuing engineering in this institute. The college not only welcomes the students to pursue engineering but also offers higher study opportunities. It has an updated curriculum and the best faculty.
