NIT-Rourkela has been ranked at 12th position by NIRF rankings. Chemical Engineering is very good academic wise in NIT Rourkela. Chemical Engineering is one of the oldest branches of NIT Rourkela. It has some of the best faculty members and infrastructure on campus. The department recently underwent a massive renovation and up-gradation providing it with infrastructure and logistics at par with international establishments. Placements are similar to other branches of NIT Rourkela. NIT-Rourkela is one of the best institute all over India and abroad. The NIRF ranking states, NIT-Rourkela to be in class 12th rank. Itis one of the best choice you have. Because, the placement scenario in Mining engineering, it is very good compared to other branches. Lots of companies come for placement, and now even some companies are offering Pre placement Offers. These are list of companies come to NITR. CIL
