The cut-off percentile for CAT 2016 will be 65 for candidates belonging to the General category, 60 for OBC and 55 for SC and ST. The average package is around Rs 7 lakhs.

There are chance for getting admission in NIA. Prepare well for GD/PI. NIA will also accept CMAT scores.

Its a good achievement to be an associate from III and it shows your interest in insurance and the related industry. It doesn't matter much if you are not good in maths as there are only a few subjects (2-3) requiring basic maths skill which would also be taught by the faculty here. You should concentrate on getting a good score in CAT/CMAT and prepare for the GD/PI. Best of luck for your exams.

Although the cutoff varies every year, you need to score around or more than 80 percentile in CMAT. You also need to consider the following weightage of selection parameters:
Scores in CAT/CMAT - 50%
Performance in GD/PI - 30%
Past Academic Record - 20%
Relevant work-ex

Last year cutoff was around 70 percentile for general category students and average package is around Rs 7.2 lac per annum. Those who having good experience in relevant field got good package. Highest package offered around Rs 9.44 lac
You can expect the call for next year by October last and you can apply through CMAT as well. Good Luck.

Usual class schedule for the PGDM class is from 9 in the morning to 4.45 in the evening, each of 1.15 hr sessions .But need not be having schedules in all the four sessions. PGDM program of NIA is a residential program and there are instances when classes been scheduled early in the morning as well as late night sessions including on Sundays / Holidays with the convenience of faculty member. If you are early riser you can join for the Yoga sessions in the Niranjana center or for Jogging in the jogging track. Many particpants used to go for their regular Gym sessions for morning as well as in the evening. Breakfast will be available upt
