Yes, of course. You just need to register yourself on the site, join Indian army. Well, the registration will start from around 5th June, and then you will be called for SSB, clear it and then clear medical. Get your name in merit list, then after 5 years of training, you will be an officer. Well, this entries name is Navy B.Tech entry for freshers just after school. Thanks.

There are other exams as well through which you can apply for admission in a merchant navy institute. These include TMISAT, JEE Advanced, WBJEE, CUSAT and CAT.

A. Deck Cadet or Navigating Officer
In this category, the career will start as a Deck Cadet, and the job responsibility would primarily be that of maintenance and running of the ship, tanks, cargo, etc. Education Required:
You can pursue your B.Sc. Nautical Science, B.Sc. Marine, B.Sc. Marine Catering, etc. You should have PCM in Class 12th to pursue a career in Merchant Navy. Admission Process to be a Cadet in the Merchant Navy:
1. IMUCET You are required to clear IMUCET which is conducted by Indian Maritime University. Once you clear IMUCET
