The NDA exam has two stages - written examination and SSB Interview.

The exam consists of 900 marks, of which 300 marks are for Mathematics paper and 600 marks are for the General Aptitude Test (GAT).  It is one of the most difficult exams in India. The SSB interview requires a lot of practice and determination to ace it. In Mathematics, Class 12 level questions are asked, and in GAT the questions are from English, General Science, and General Knowledge.
