NDA

Candidates can apply for the exam within their age. The educational qualification is Class 12 pass. The eligibility is prescribed by the examination authority for candidates. Applications are accepted only who satisfies the eligibility.

SSB Interview is conducted for candidates who qualify the written exam. The SSB Interview carries 900 marks. The structure of SSB interview is given below.

NDA apply online link is activated on the official website-upsc.gov.in. The direct link to fill NDA application form 2025 is provided on this page. Candidates are required to ascertain their eligibility before filling the application form. 

The Paper 1 of NDA Maths section carries 300 marks. The exam comprises of 120 questions in maths from Class 12 level. For each correct answer, candidate get 2.5 marks. Additionally, 0.83 mark is deducted for wrong response. Questions in Maths are asked from Algebra, Calculus, Matrices and Determinants, Integral Calculus and Differential Equations, Trigonometry, Vector Algebra, Analytical Geometry Of Two and Three Dimension and Statistics and Probability. 

On May 9, 2024, the 2024 NDA 1 results was made public. On the official UPSC website, candidates who took the exam on April 21, 2024, can view their results. Successful applicants will proceed to the next phase, which entails the Services Selection Board (SSB) interviews, following the results' release.

After the exam is over, the NDA cutoff is made public. The deadlines for the written test and final selection are announced separately. The exam has sectional cutoff scores as well. Candidates must receive a minimum of 25% in each NDA exam subject. Candidates are chosen for the SSB Interview based on their written exam cutoff scores. The written exam and SSB interview are used to determine the final cutoff.
