Admission to the B.E./B.Tech programs in NEC - Nandha Engineering College is mainly through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) process on the basis of merit obtained from qualifying exams such as 10+2 or CBSE 12th. Direct admission apart from the TNEA or any other accepted entry processes is not offered by the college. All applicants need to apply under the single window system operated by TNEA or provide scores from established qualifying boards. There is no separate management quota or direct admission without TNEA or equivalent for B.E./B.Tech in NEC.

NEC - Nandha Engineering College offers only BTech, MTech, MBA, and MCA courses. The total tuition fees for these courses range from INR 35 K to INR 2 Lakhs. Admission to Nandha Engineering College (NEC) - UG courses (B.E./B.Tech) entails passing 10+2 (HSC) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Admission is through the counselling of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) based on 12th marks. For PG courses (M.E./M.Tech), students need a pertinent B.E./B.Tech degree with at least 50% aggregate marks and need to pass GATE or CEETA PG exams. MBA/MCA admissions need a bachelor's degree and TANCET exam. All the candidates need to undergo the respective counselling process and submit necessary documents for verification.

NEC - Nandha Engineering College is an autonomous, private engineering college at Erode, Tamil Nadu. It came into existence in 2001 under the auspices of Sri Nandha Educational Trust, a private trust headed by Thiru. V. Shanmugan and his family members. It is a constituent college affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. NEC is All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved and NAAC as well as NBA accredited. It provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses in a number of different disciplines of Engineering, Computer Science, and Management.
