As per the seat matrix data of last year, the total number of MBBS and BDS seats offered through Maharashtra NEET counselling is 9,000 and 3,256 respectively. The number may undergo change this year and the data will be updated here on this page.

Yes, candidates belonging to other states apart from Maharashtra are also eligible to participate in the NEET UG counselling. However, while filling the registration form for Maharashtra NEET UG counselling, they must not select the Maharashtra domicile category. Only those belonging to the Maharashtra state should select the state domicile category. Rest of the candidates may select the NRI category or other than Maharashtra state category and provide the documents accordingly.

The official website for Maharashtra NEET UG counselling is cetcell.mahacet.org/admissions. Upon landing on this page, candidates will have to click on the section NEET UG under the Under Graduate Courses tab. Therein, they will get the important notifications, documents, registration and login windows. It is expected that the official website URL for the Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2024 will be the same as last year.

No. Candidates will have to qualify NEET PG 2025 exam to participate in the counselling for UP medical PG admission 2025. Based on NEET PG rank and other details filled in the application form, a merit list will be released by Directorate of Medical Education and Training Uttar Pradesh (DMET). The merit list comprises shortlisted candidates for UP NEET PG counselling 2025.

Candidates need various documents in the process of seat allotment. For an example NEET PG scorecard is required during registration. Some of the documents required during UP NEET PG counselling are as follows:

  • NEET PG scorecard
  • MBBS mark sheet
  •  Internship Completion Certificate
  • Certificates for claiming reservations (if any)

The NEET Counselling 2023 is already complete. NEET Counselling 2023 had four rounds :

  • Round 1
  • Round 2
  • Mop-Up Round
  • Stray Vacancy Round

The NEET Counseling 2023 is over. NEET 2023 counseling consisted of four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round. These rounds were conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to fill up seats in various medical colleges across India. Since it is March 2024 now, the focus would have shifted to NEET 2024.

The NEET SS counselling is conducted in online mode, except for the last and final round of institute reporting. The registration and choice filling and locking rounds will have to be conducted in online mode. The seat allotment result will be released online and candidates will have to download the result PDF to check whether they have been allotted seats or not. If yes, the seat allotment result will also have to be downloaded online. Followed by this, the seat allotment result has to be downloaded from the MCC website. While particpating in the NEET SS counselling process, candidates will have to get certain documents verified during the institute reporting process. The list of documents that must be produced during the final round of counselling are as follows:

  • NEET SS seat allotment letter
  • NEET SS Result/Scorecard
  • NEET SS Admit Card
  • MBBS Degree Certificate
  • MD/MS/DNB Degree Certificate
  • Permanent Registration Certificate for MBBS/MD/MS/DNB issued by NBE
  • Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate as proof of birth
  • A valid photo ID proof (PAN card/Driving License, Voter ID, Passport/Aadhaar Card)

There is no limit on the number of choices that a candidate can fill during the counselling of NEET SS counselling. These choices submitted and locked should be in the order of preference as desired by the candidate. It must be noted choices have to be locked in the given deadline otherwise it gets automatically locked. Candidates are advised to fill choices carefully as it can't be modified once its locked, or the deadline is over. Seats will be allotted based on choice declared by candidates and other factors.
