WBMCC will organize a stray vacancy round after WB NEET counselling Round 3 to fill the vacant seats. The stray vacancy round is the final round to fill up the vacant NEET UG seats in the state of West Bengal.

The seat surrender of the admitted candidate during the process of Round 1 admission is allowed without any penalty money. The seat surrender of the admitted candidate during the process of Round 2 admission is allowed but with forfeiture of admission fees. Such candidate must apply in person before the admitted college for seat surrender and must receive the server generated Seat surrender letter. The seat surrender is not allowed from Round 3 counseling any further till the counseling process is over. The document verification for the WB NEET counselling is conducted before the candidate reports at the allotted institute. It is important for the candidate to visit the institute with the original documents to confirm the admission. In case the information provided at the time of registration doesn’t matches with the documents submitted, the admission will be cancelled.

The WB Choice Filling and Locking process for round 1 counselling is over while it is ongoing for round 2. The choice filling schedule for each round is mentioned below:

The round 1 and round 2 registration for the WB NEET counselling schedule was released by the WBMCC. The round 1 registration was done between July 31 to August 12, 2025, and round 2 registration could be done between September 2 to 17, 2025.
The registration window for each round opened separately. Registration is the first and foremost step to participate in the counselling process. Candidates need to pay a mandatory counselling application fee and provide necessary documents and details, which have been further shared with the counselling body.

WBMCC releases the WB NEET cutoff after the announcement of NEET result. Candidates need to check the WB NEET cutoff before applying for the targeted college and course (MBBS/BDS). The cutoff score indicates the basic score which makes a candidates eligible to participate in the counselling process. The counselling cutoff for reserved and unreserved categories differ. Therefore, candidates are advised to check and then apply for the WB NEET counselling.

There will be three rounds of counselling to be conducted by the WBMCC for WB NEET counselling. Fresh registration will be invited and accepted in each round of counselling. Candidates can opt out of counselling at any step adhering to the WB NEET UG seat surrender policy. Before each round of WB counselling, a seat matrix will be released for the candidates that will enable them exercise choice filling and locking option.

The WB NEET counselling dates have been released. The authorities started the WB NEET counselling registration on July 31, 2025. West Bengal Main Computerised Counselling (WBMCC) released the official notification stating the important dates and guidelines regarding the WB NEET counselling process. The last date to register for round 1 WB NEET counselling is August 8, 2025.

In order to participate in Telangana NEET PG counselling, candidates need to keep ready documents such as: NEET PG result, Provisional/Permanent MBBS Degree Certificate, MBBS Study Certificate, Internship Completion Certificate, Aadhar Card/valid photo ID proof, Recent passport-sized photograph, Candidate’s signature. All the document should be in PDF format and the size should be Up to 500 kb (maximum). For the photograph and signatures, the size should be up to 100 kb.
