In general, the Maharashtra NEET Counselling institute reporting process is conducted for three to four days for each round. Candidates will have to check the important dates carefully and report to the institutes within the deadline. In certain cases, the last date of reporting to the institutes is extended. DTE Maharashtra conducts institute reporting separately for courses or candidate categories. For Round 1 of AYUSH and Medical Allied courses, the institute reporting is being conducted from September 13 to September 17, 2025, and from September 17 to September 21, 2025.

Yes, after the declaration of the Maharashtra NEET counselling seat allotment result, candidates will be given the option to upgrade the seat choice. Based on that, the counselling authorities will upgrade the seats based on the choices entered by candidates, in case the desired seat is vacant after the institute reporting process is concluded.

Yes, candidates belonging to other states apart from Maharashtra are also eligible to participate in the NEET UG counselling. However, while filling the registration form for Maharashtra NEET UG counselling, they must not select the Maharashtra domicile category. Only those belonging to the Maharashtra state should select the state domicile category. Rest of the candidates may select the NRI category or other than Maharashtra state category and provide the documents accordingly.
