NEET Process

The NEET Counseling 2022 is a process of allocating seats in medical colleges by respective authorities on the basis of the rank and preferences of students. This procedure is done by two authorities: the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) for 15% of the All India Quota seats and the state's counseling authorities for 85% of the state quota seats. There are generally four rounds, which are: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round. The registration procedure for NEET counseling is as follows:
Go to the MCC website for AIQ or your state's official website for state quota. Click on the UG Counselling tab, which will display a registration link. This registration will include selecting preferences, seat locking, and paying fees. Following it, allocations will be done based on ranks, and candidates will be required to report to designated colleges. Now with 306 marks in OBC, you may get into the following medical colleges:
1. Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences in Secunderabad
2. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (GITAM) of Visakhapatnam.

The counseling process for 85% of state quota seats under NEET UG is done by the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra following the completion of the NEET UG exam. The counseling process for the centralized admission procedure in Maharashtra is as follows:
Counseling is generally completed in four rounds. The students will need to complete the registration form by visiting the MH-CET official website and selecting the CAP Admission option. Then, enter the required information in the online registration form as available and upload all required documents. Afterward, documents will be verified before publication of a provisional list. Following it, round one allocation will be done based on ranks, and candidates will be required to report to designated colleges. Later, for the merit list for remaining seats, registered candidates have to make new choices for round two seat allocation. After successful allocation, candidates will be required to report to their allocated colleges.
