According to the NEET SS 2024 eligibility criteria, candidates must qualify or complete their MD, MS or DNB Broad Speciality course, including the internship process, by April 30, 2025. In case they do not complete their course within this date, they will not be considered eligible for the NEET SS 2024 admission process for the academic year 2025-26.

No, there is no category-wise variation in the NEET SS 2025 application fee. Irrespective of each category, candidates have to pay INR 3,500 for each course. The NEET SS application fee has to be paid in online mode only.

Yes, the NEET SS 2024 application fee has been reduced from that of last year. This year, the NEET SS application fee is INR 3,500 for each category. Last year, the exam fee was INR 4,250. NBEMS, the exam authority has not stated any particular reason for the reduction of the NEET SS 2024 application fee.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), or the exam conducting authority, postponed the NEET SS 2025 exam date to December 26 and December 27, 2025. NBEMS announced the revised date on October 22, 2025. Originally, the exam was scheduled for November 7 and November 8, 2025, which was postponed to December 27 and December 28, and has been rescheduled again.

In NEET SS exam, feeder course refers to the broad speciality qualifications, under which the courses are grouped. There are 15 groups of papers or specialities/subjects, which are grouped under the feeder courses. According to NBEMS, the question papers of these groups will consist of questions from the General/Basic component of the respective primary feeder broad specialty subject and from all sub-specialty/ systems/component of that primary feeder broad specialty subject. All the questions would be from the Curriculum of the Post Graduate Exit level of the primary feeder broad specialty subject.

After submitting the NEET SS application form, candidates are advised to go through the submitted form to check whether all the information entered are correct or not. In case there is a mistake, then you have to make the changes in the first NEET SS edit window. In case of a deficient image or signature or thumb impression, NBE will mail candidates with the details and candidates have to edit the images accordingly.

There is no fee involved for editing the NEET SS application form. Only those candidates who completed the NEET SS application process are eligible to avail the edit window. Applicants can make changes in the editable fields only.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), or the exam conducting body provides two application correction windows for NEET SS. In the first or the preliminary correcton window, registered candidates can edit or modify the information entered on the application form. 

The second or the final NEET SS application correction window is for correcting the images or the JPG/JPEG files including the photograph, signature and thumb impression. According to NBEMS, failure to submit images as per guidelines and/or failure to rectify the images shall invite rejection of the application.
