Once the NEET SS application form is submitted, candidates will be sent a confirmation email and an SMS notification confirming the successful completion of the application process. In case candidates submit the NEET SS application form but do not get any confirmation, they are advised to contact NBE to seek the application status. In case they cannot reach out to the NBE officials, they should check whether the NEET SS application fee amount has been deducted on not. No, it is not mandatory to enter Aadhaar number or other details regarding the Aadhaar card while filling the NEET SS application process. It is one of the accepted identity cards for candidates at the NEET SS exam centres, but their Aadhaar card is not required while filling up the online application form for NEET SS. The NEET SS 2025 application process is yet to begin and NBE might make Aadhaar verification mandatory this year onwards.   

In general, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the exam conducting body does not extend on reopen the NEET SS application window. The NEET SS 2024 application dates were announced by NBE on February 4. The application window was scheduled from February 4 to February 24, 2025. Like previous years, NBE has not extended the last date of NEET SS 2024 application process. 

The NEET SS result PDF will include the roll number of the candidate, total marks, and the merit rank. Candidates will be qualified only if they obtain the cut off percentile of the NEET SS. Qualified candidates will be shortlisted for NEET SS counseling. Scorecard for NEET SS exam will be made available on the official website - nbe.edu.in. The NEET SS result can be downloaded using the candidate's NBEMS ID and password. Candidates will be given a window of up to 2 days after the conduct of the exam to challenge the questions in the NEET SS question paper.

Manipal University accepts NEET SS for admission to the DM and MCh courses. As per the 2023 last-round cutoff, the closing ranks ranged between 2576 and 5892 for the General AI category candidates. Among all the DM specialisations, the most competitive was DM in Infectious Disease, followed by DM in Gastroenterology and DM in Cardiology, with last-round closing ranks of 2576, 2844, and 3713, respectively. Tabulated below is the NEET SS last-round cutoff 2023 for all the DM courses offered via KMC Manipal, affiliated to Manipal University. 

The NEET SS 2024 exam dates have been announced by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on September 13, 2024. The exam will be conducted on March 29 and March 30, 2025. Generally, NEET SS is conducted over a window of two days and two shifts. The NEET SS 2024 official notification will be released tentatively in the fourth week of December 2024, along with the application forms.
