Ideally, candidates should preserve the NEET SS admit card till the admission process is over, i.e. till the NEET SS counselling process is conducted and they get allotted a seat, or join a college. NEET SS admit card is often an important document which is checked during the verification round of the counselling process. Moreover, NBEMS might disable the link to download the NEET SS admit card after the conduct of the exam or the declaration of the result, Hence, to be on the safer side, test takers should preserve both the soft and hard copies of NEET SS admit card till the admission process is over.

In case of any wrong information printed on the NEET SS admit card, be it a misprint or completely wrong information in terms of personal details, photograph, etc. candidates must report to NBEMS immediately by contacting them through their helpline number. Even if NBEMS does not make the necessary changes or issue the rectified NEET SS admit card immediately, candidates are advised to keep a copy of the official email with them to be shown at the exam centre if need be.

After the NEET SS admit card is released, the centre cannot be changed. Since the admit card of NEET SS is released a few days before the exam date, authorities cannot get the centre changed in such a short notice. In case of an emergency, candidates are advised to contact NBE to change the exam city or centre. Since NBE allots the exam centre in the preferred city, test-takers should not have any difficulty in getting the exam city or centre of their preference.

The NBE conducts the NEET SS exam in two shifts on each exam day. The first shift starts at 9.00 am and the second at 2.00 pm. The reporting time at the NEET SS exam centres is around two hours before the exam. Candidates should reach the centres timely.

No, showing the digital copy of the NEET SS admit card at the exam centre will not be allowed. It is mandatory to show the NEET SS admit card in the hard copy only. In case a candidate forgets to carry the hard copy of the NEET SS admit card, then showing the digital copy or the soft copy will not work. In this scenario, they must arrange to take a print out from a nearby facility centre or request someone to carry it to the centre at the earliest possible.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) generally announces the NEET SS admit card release date in advance, along with the information bulletin. On the day of the slated release of the NEET SS admit card, candidates are advised to log in to their account to check whether the admit card is available for download or not. In general, NBEMS does not send SMS or mail to candidates informing them about the release of the admit card. Hence, candidates should check it on their own, and should also check education news platforms like Shiksha and social media groups for the latest updates.
