NBE conducted the NEET SS 2023 exam over a window of two days, September 29 and September 30, in two slots. The morning slot was held from 9 AM to 11.30 AM and the afternoon slot was scheduled from 2 PM to 4.30 PM. The exam was earlier postponed by NBE owing to the G-20 Summit scheduled in New Delhi from September 8 to September 10. The exam was scheduled to be held on September 9 and September 10. NEET SS 2023 exam was held in computer-based mode. NBE started registration for NEET SS 2023 on July 27.  Candidates had to register online and submit NEET SS 2023 application form till August 16.

In-service quota applies to individuals who have volunteered for service in tribal and rural areas for a minimum of 5 years. The main reason of introducing the in-service quota was because, candidate were not able to work and at the same time update their knowledge and compete with other general merit candidates.
50% of government reservation was for government doctors who are in government service.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Specialty, NEET SS 2023 will be held on 1st & 2nd September 2023 by the National Board of Examinations, NBE
Total Question: Total 100 Questions for 400 marks will be asked in the NEET SS question paper. Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Marking Scheme: Aspirants will get +4 marks on each correct response and -1 on each negative response. And if it's help you like it.

NEET SS or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Super Speciality Courses) is conducted by the National Board of Education for admission to various DM/ M.Ch. Courses. It is a qualifying cum ranking examination for admission to super speciality courses. For appearing in NEET SS, aspirants should hold a postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) or any equivalent examination. By qualifying the exam, candidates can take admission in speciality courses. According to the Indian Medical Council Act, 2016, no other entrance test is valid for admission to these courses. NEET SS is conducted annually in computer-based mode.

There is no fixed syllabus for NEET SS. The questions can be asked from all the topics that have been covered during both, the undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications. However the subjects that need to be prepared will be limited to the feeder course and super speciality course selected by the candidate Paediatric Cardio thoracic Vascular Surgery Thoracic Surgery Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery Vascular Surgery Hepato Pancreato Biliary Surgery Surgical Gastroenterology Paediatric Hepatology Paediatric Oncology Paediatric Nephrology Paediatric Cardiology Paediatric Gastroenterology Neonatology Paediatric and Neonatal Anaesthe

The NEET SS exam does not have a fixed syllabus. Usually, questions from medical course books are asked up to the postgraduate level. You are advised to read your course books to prepare for this exam. Other than course material, you can study the following books:
1. Harrison's textbook of Internal Medicine
2. NEET SS MCQ book by Deepak Marwah & Mudit Khanna
3. Schwartz's Principles of Surgery
4. R. Kumar's book named Clinical Methods in Medicine
5. Guyton and Hall's book named Textbook of Medical Physiology.
