No. Candidates will have to score the minimum cutoff marks to qualify for NEET SS exam, which is 50 percentile. NBE prescribes the minimum qualifying cutoff for NEET SS along with the release of the result. Candidates will have to secure the minimum percentile or more to qualify for the exam.  Qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in the counselling process for seat allotment.

NEET SS 2023 result was uploaded online on October 15. Candidates had to download the merit list form the official website. NEET SS 2023 cut off was been released along with the result. The cut off was released separately for each category. Earlier on September 29, two-day NEET SS 2023 exam was concluded. The exam was held for 2.5 hours in computer-based mode. The first day of the exam was marred with technical glitches. At some of the NEET SS exam centres, there was a delay of over two hours.

No. Candidates can't carry stationary items such as pen, writing pad etc. They can carry only admit card and valid photo identity proof at exam centre. List of items which are debarred at NEET SS exam centre include:

  • Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), Pen Drives, Eraser, etc. 
  • Any electronic device like mobile phone, Bbluetooth, earphones etc.
  • All ornaments like bracelets, rind, earrings, Nose-pin
  •  Other items like wallet, Goggles, Water Bottle etc.
  • Any eatable item opened or packed, soft drinks, water bottle etc.

Yes. You can carry e Aadhaar card along with NEET SS admit card. But the e Aadhaar card should be a good quality colour print out with clearly visible photograph. The photograph should not have kinks, scratches and stains, and should definitely match with the candidate presenting the e Aadhaar Card. Decision of NBEMS in this regard shall be final. The name on the photo identification must match with the name as shown on the admit card. If name has changed due to marriage etc., candidate must show the relevant document to substantiate claim for change in name

Candidates need to carry a set of documents along with NEET SS admit card to exam centre. Documents that must be carried on NEET SS exam day are as follows: 

  • Printed copy of Barcoded/QR Coded Admit card with his/her photograph pasted on it
  • Photocopy of Permanent SMC/MCI/NMC registration, to be retained by the test centre
  • Any one of the below mentioned Govt issued photo IDs* (must be original and valid/non-expired): 
  1.  PAN Card
  2. Driving License
  3. Voter ID
  4. Passport
  5. Aadhaar Card (with Photograph)

No. Candidates can download NEET SS admit card any number of times from the official website. At the same times, there is no fee involved for downloading NEET SS admit card. It must be noted NEET SS admit card can be downloaded till exam date post which the link is deactivated. To download NEET SS admit card, candidates have to visit the official website and provide login ID and password. Download the admit card and take a print out of it on A4 size plane paper. NEET SS admit card should be carried to exam centre along with other documents, else candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

After downloading NEET SS admit card, print it on an A4 size paper. Paste a recent passport-sized photograph, preferably same as one attached on application form. Photograph should be coloured with white background. Candidates will have to carry the admit card along with other important documents on the exam day.

If you have spelt your name correctly in application form of NEET SS and it is still misspelled on admit card, you must contact office of NBE to get it corrected. That is why candidates are advised to check all details on NEET SS admit card carefully after download. To correct detail, candidates should email the exam conducting body immediately.

Photograph to be pasted on NEET SS admit card must be in proper size and format. Some of the specifications of NEET SS admit card have been enlisted below:

  • Minimum size of photograph should be 35x45 mm with at least 75% area on the photograph should be occupied with face & head of candidate. 
  • It should be a Colour photograph with plain white background
  •  Photograph needs to display full front view of the face with a neutral expression. 
  • No Caps, Stethoscope, Goggles, Ornaments to be worn.
